Born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska, Ben is a graduate of the University of Nebraska-Omaha with a degree in History and Philosophy. While he initially desired to become an educator, he took the opportunity to work in financial services with his brother and father and quickly realized that his desire to both educate and be educated by others was complementary to working with advisors.

When Ben is not at work, he can be found with his family and friends, whether that be spending time outdoors, around the table or at local sporting events. He is passionate about baseball, soccer, cycling, hiking, camping and music. Ben is an avid cyclist and loves touring on his bike with friends or solo. He rides from Omaha to Kansas City, Missouri, once a year.
