Prior to joining Carson, Madalena worked in the mortgage industry for more than five years helping families make homeownership a reality. She graduated from Creighton University with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies.

After graduating, Madalena made Omaha home with her husband, Nick. They frequently visit family in Kansas City, Missouri – where Madalena grew up – and her in-laws in South Dakota. They also enjoy hosting family and friends at their home, exploring Omaha, trying new restaurants and bars and spending time with their tortoiseshell cat, Xena, who is full of personality and loves the spotlight.
