About Tim
As Associate Vice President of Business Development for the West Region, Tim helps advisors step into the driver’s seat of their business, empowered by Carson’s deep bench of resources. Deal-making and brainstorming are Tim’s strengths, and he strives to find creative solutions to help financial advisors get where they want to be throughout the life cycle of their practices.
Tim is one of the few (possibly only) Villanova Wildcats at Carson. He started his career in financial services with Fidelity Investments, managing operations for several retail branches in Eastern Pennsylvania. He moved to the institutional space with TD Ameritrade, holding roles in service and sales before joining Carson’s Business Development Team.
After seven sunburnt years in San Diego, California, Tim, his wife, Courtney, and his German Shepherd Moose settled near his hometown in Baltimore, Maryland. They spend their downtime by the water’s edge whenever possible, or boondocking around the country in their self-built camper van. Tim was raised in the Jesuit tradition, so he spends several weeks of the year volunteering with organizations like Appalachia Service Project and Habitat for Humanity. Swinging a hammer for a good cause is something he’ll never turn down.
