About John
As Associate Vice President of Business Development for the Northeast Region, John helps advisors reach their growth or succession goals as they partner with Carson.
John graduated from the University of Nebraska Lincoln in 2010. During his last year of school, he interned at Northwestern Mutual, where he came on full-time after graduating. John worked as a representative with Northwestern Mutual for seven years, building a book of insurance and investment clients. At that time, John realized he was wearing too many hats and decided to leave the business.
John then worked as a regional sales manager with Applied Underwriters, where he was awarded Regional Sales Manager of the year in 2021. Around that time, John heard about Carson and the ways it was helping financial advisors find their freedom, and he joined the company in April 2022.
In his free time, John enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling, attending sporting events, an trying new restaurants. Although he tends to lose more than his fair share of balls, John also enjoys golfing and spending time outdoors.
