Meet Joel Worsfold
Joel Worsfold began his career in 1988 at American Express and later worked at Green Belt Bank and Trust before joining Wells Fargo in 1994 and Carson Wealth in 2019. Recognized as a Wells Fargo Advisors “Premier Advisor” from 2012-18, Joel was also named one of the nation’s top 1,200 State-by-State advisors for 2018 by Barron’s. In 2024, he was included in the prestigious Marquis Who’s Who biographical volume.
Twenty years ago, Joel Worsfold felt like he had hit his ceiling as a financial advisor.
“I needed help to get to that next level, and I didn’t know how to do it on my own,” Joel says.
A desire to break through that ceiling led Joel to Ron Carson, and that first meeting with Ron led Joel down a path he never could have envisioned.
2006
More than a Coach
In 2006, Joel joined Carson Coaching, and his work with Executive Business Coach Greg Opitz helped him change his attitude not just about his business, but about his life. “Not only is he a dear friend, but he gets me, he gets my family,” Joel says. “I didn’t take a week off till my daughter was 13 years old, and that was because of Greg.”
By working on the Blueprinting process, Joel was able to map out a plan that helped prioritize the things that mattered most.
“The blueprint is everything,” Joel says. “You get that down, everything else will work out.”

2019
Finding a True Partner
As a Carson Coaching member, Joel found great success as a financial advisor, eventually being named a top-10 Wealth Brokerage Services advisor. But he knew he needed more than he was getting from his broker-dealer to deliver the client experience he wanted.
“When you start looking at our competition, I don’t know of anybody … that has the tools that we have to get the client where we need them to go,” Joel says.
In 2019, Joel partnered with Carson and transitioned to a Carson Wealth firm, giving him and his team the tools they needed to deliver a first-class client experience.
In just his first full year with Carson, Joel’s firm added nearly 70 new clients and more than $50 million in AUM.
