Scott Conroy serves as Managing Partner of Carson’s Coaching and Consulting division. His primary goal is to ensure these teams are helping content members, coaching members, and Carson Partners achieve the highest success through their relationship with Carson.
The team Scott leads also supports the organic and inorganic growth efforts of all strategic partners within the Carson ecosystem. His focus is to expand and execute the company’s approach to custodian referral programs to capitalize on the opportunity within the retail branches of Carson’s custodial partners, TD Ameritrade and Fidelity.
Scott joined the Carson Group Executive Team in March 2017. Prior to this, he spent five years at LPL Financial and served as the Senior Vice President of the LPL RIA Platform. In this role, he was focused on the continued development of the LPL RIA Custody Platform and acted as internal and external RIA advocate to build awareness about the RIA marketplace and LPL’s offering. He worked closely with the LPL Business Development and Business Consulting teams to engage in prospect discovery, and helped accelerate the sales cycle to close new RIA business and support the over 4,800 advisors on the LPL RIA platform. During his tenure, the RIA platform grew from $50B in AUM to over $150B.
Prior to joining LPL, he worked for more than 11 years at TD Ameritrade in their sales, service, and product management divisions supporting advisors. Scott also spent one year as the regional Vice President of Sales at FocusPoint Solutions out of Portland, OR. There, he worked with RIA firms who were looking for an outsourced technology partner to help support their back-office and technology needs.
Scott earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from Springfield College in Western Massachusetts. He recently relocated to Omaha, NE with his wife, Traci, and two children. They love being outside hiking and golfing.
