Boston Retirement Group is the Newest Affiliate with Ron Carson’s Partnership Network

Omaha, Nebraska – October 29, 2020 – Boston Retirement Group, a firm that offers a full array of comprehensive personal and business financial services, announced today that it is joining the Carson Partners network. The team ultimately decided to affiliate with Carson to deliver a “single pane of glass” experience for clients, improved investment strategies and reporting, and a more efficient service model.

Established in 2016, a team of four currently manages nearly $140 million in assets, working primarily with affluent baby boomers in New England and across the United States. Partner and Wealth Advisor Patrick Nee, CRPS®, said, “After doing our due diligence on two other firms, Carson Partners resonated with us because of the culture, technology and relentless drive to stay on the cutting-edge of financial services. This change will empower us to continue to grow and help our clients achieve their goals and live out their values.”

Partner and Wealth Advisor Doug Padden added, “We made this move to provide the best experience possible, because what worked ten and twenty years ago won’t work going into the future. Boston Retirement Group doesn’t want to be good—we want to be great—and Carson Partners will help us get there.” He said he expects to slash prep time for client review meetings in half by optimizing processes and infrastructure through Carson’s tech stack, which now includes tax-planning integration with Holistiplan.

As with other advisors who have affiliated with Carson Partners, Nee and Padden will maintain ownership of the firm and remain the strategic decision-makers for all business decisions and operations.

“Patrick and his team operate with a family-first mentality,” said Justin Starnes, Senior Vice President of Partnership Development and Distribution at Carson Group. “We are excited to welcome them to the Carson family in turn, so that they can focus on becoming a one-stop resource for their clients’ financial needs.”

Carson currently manages more than $13 billion in assets and serves more than 34,000 families through its advisory network consisting of 304 advisors across 36 states, including 25 Carson Wealth offices.
