Sam Ro, the founder of TKer, joined Ryan Detrick, Chief Market Strategist, and Sonu Varghese, VP, Global Macro Strategist,  for a really fun and interesting discussion on the recent Facts vs Feelings podcast. The Carson Investment Research team is a huge fan of Sam, as we’ve followed him for years, starting back at BusinessInsider and then Yahoo!, before he started his own company.

Sam has been in the ground level of financial media for most of his career, so we discussed exactly that. Touching on his career, his background, and approach to content with TKer, we also discussed the latest trends in the industry and Sam shared his valuable perspectives on the future of the field.

The conversation also focused on the latest in the economy and macro backdrop. Sam reads all the big Wall Street reports and is very connected. One of his strengths is being able to read incredible amounts of information and find one or two very important data pieces for readers to use. He is like a human cliff notes machine, but for enormous Wall Street reports.
