OMAHA, Neb.Nov. 7, 2018 /PRNewswire/ — Carson Group, a family of companies committed to being the most trusted for financial advice and guidance through serving advisors and investors, today announced the opening of its early bird registration for Excell 2019. Taking place in Chicago at the Marriott Downtown Magnificent Mile, the conference expects a record crowd of nearly 2,000 attendees. Excell’s mission is to introduce a mix of speakers and content within the realms of leadership, personal effectiveness, innovative tech, and ethical persuasion to encourage a movement among advisors who believe in investing in their firms and serving clients at the highest level.

For the second consecutive year, Excell was named one of the “16 Best Conferences for Financial Advisors in 2019” by Nerd’s Eye View writer and industry influencer Michael Kitces. Advisors within Excell’s community come from a diverse group of 116 broker dealers and 292 RIAs across the U.S. and Canada – and collectively oversee $212 billion in assets under management.

The 34th edition of the conference makes it one of the longest-running conferences in financial services and will include two separate, targeted tracks – one for advisors, and one for their teams – with detailed educational sessions and networking opportunities to help attendees move from being a “lifestyle” practice to sustainable businesses led by Advisor CEOs.

“Excell has grown into more than just an advisor conference,” said Laura Pierson, managing partner of Carson Group. “Much like the importance of holistic planning, we’ve found that to truly attract the brightest minds in the industry, we must offer content that appeals to the entire advisor – as a CEO, entrepreneur, mother or father, spouse or partner, community philanthropist, and servant leader.”

Already on the lineup for Excell 2019’s speakers and featured presenters:

Joe Ricketts: founder, former CEO, and former chairman of TD Ameritrade

Avery Johnson: 2006 NBA Coach of the Year, former NBA champion with the 1999 San Antonio Spurs, and head coach for the University of Alabama men’s basketball team

Nathana Sharma: professor at Singularity University, JD/MBA graduate of Yale Law and Yale School of Management

Other highlights at 2019’s conference will include the second annual Women in Wealth Summit, specifically for female advisors; the return of the Executive Mastermind Roundtable session for C-suite industry influencers; and the Meet the Experts Lounge. One of country music’s most popular singer/songwriters, Jake Owen, will also play live at the Chicago House of Blues on Thursday, May 9, to close out day two of Excell.

“Excell has quickly become an energetic gathering for some of the brightest minds and growth-focused advisors in our profession today,” said Ron Carson, CEO and founder of Carson Group. “The atmosphere born out of this diverse group over the years has created something unlike any other industry conference. We look forward to making this an event where thousands of driven advisors and influencers who want to better themselves and their business can come to connect, learn, and grow.”
