Carson Group Expands National Presence of the Carson Wealth Brand with Acquisition of Billion-Dollar Firm

Pinnacle Financial Group brings $1.1 billion in assets and five office locations to Carson Wealth

Omaha, NE – July 20, 2018 Carson Group,a family of companies committed to being the most trusted for financial advice and guidance via service to both advisors and investors, today announced that Amarillo, Texas-based Pinnacle Financial Group (“Pinnacle”) has become the latest firm to leverage Carson Group’s recently developed equity partnership option.

Pinnacle Financial Group, led by founder and CEO Michael David, is dedicated to providing investors a high-touch, personalized experience that emphasizes core tenets of trust, transparency and accountability. The firm employs 28 stakeholders across its five office locations throughout Texas and Kansas, with a combined $1.1 billion in assets under management.

Pinnacle decided to affiliate with Carson Wealth to further strengthen its movement in the financial services industry and set a new standard for the client experience. This new partnership will see Carson Group acquire an equity stake in Pinnacle, enabling the Pinnacle team to adopt the trusted Carson Wealth name and enjoy the brand recognition of a Barron’s Hall of Fame firm – all while maintaining majority stake in their practice.Mr. David will continue to enjoy active majority ownership of the firm and spearhead all strategic business decisions and operations.
